A month ago I did the fifty hour service on my B2150HSD (yes 50 hrs)filters, strainer, etc., and replaced the original hydro oil with super UDT. Following the change I noticed the lifting capacity of the loader had decreased slightly, but thought that there was air in the system and that over time it would work its way out. Its now been 15 hours since the change, and i confirmed this weekend that the loader cannot lift what it did prior to the service. The loader would not lift a large rock that it had moved easily prior to the oil change. Any ideas? should I put the regular UDT back in?
Thanks,
Buzst

When you figure this out let me know. Last month the loader on my BX22 could lift the front end of the tractor off the ground. Last week it couldn't. Now it can again and I haven't changed anything. ....

The regular UDT is a little thicker viscosity and might make it happen. The other thing entering in here is that the oil should have been changed sooner due to the time frame of the first 50 hours. You might want to have your relief valves checked. ....

Hey Art, what did you mean when you said that the oil should have been changed sooner due to the time frame of the first 50 hours?

Billy, think about this, they last built that tractor in 1998. that's four years ago. With the acids that have been created in the transmission and engine even from the little use that it has they have been eating on bearing surfaces as well as all the parts that it can. In your car owners manual they say 4000 miles or yearly for oil changes normally. I don't care wheather it is syntetic oil or not you can't win. Even with Amsoil they say 25000 miles or yearly for the engine! For some it's a matter of a 10.00 oil change or a 30.00 oil change. ....

Art, I didn't know how old the tractor was. You're right though, that's way too long to go without an oil change. It's kinda like "pay me now or PAY me later". Thanks for explaining.

Billy ....

My wife complains that I don't explain myself or thoughts enough, some days theres just to much to do and to little time. But then again she's from Mars and I'm from Venus, or the other way around, I don't know on this one it's not mechanical and can't be fixed with a 2 by 4 either so I'm lost. ....
